    A vocalist and pianist originally from Saratoga, N.Y., who attended the 1999 International FAME Festival Center for Jazz Studies.

    Bring your sweetheart and see Cafe Nine all dolled up for a night of jazz, blues and standards. Hosted by the Nine's own Jamie Arabolos. With Brian Buster, Ken Aldrich, Peter Lachmann and George Lesiw. Special guests TBA. Guest musicians welcome. And if you can sing, come down and serenade your honey with a live backup band.   • 2/14/09 (Sat)- Carolina Chocolate Drops at Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton, MA
    The Carolina Chocolate Drops are a group of young African-American string band musicians that have come to together to play the rich tradition of fiddle and banjo music in Carolina's Piedmont. Although they have diverse musical backgrounds, the band draws its musical heritage from the foothills of the North and South Carolina. Under the tutelage of Joe Thompson, said to be the last black traditional string band player, of Mebane NC, they strive to carry on the long standing traditional music of the black and white communities.

    A pianist and singer whose repertoire ranges over jazz, rock, soul, R&B and gospel, who has performed in Japan, Canada and, most recently, in Dubai.
